در سال ۱۳۹۳ (۲۰۱۴)، گالری سهراب فعالیت خود را با نمایش مجموعه‌ای از آثار هنرمندان مکتب سقاخانه آغاز کرد؛ روایتی بصری از هنر ایران با نگاهی شخصی و عاشقانه از سوی شاهین ترکمن، بنیان‌گذار گالری، که دل در گرو هنر و ادبیات داشت. در طی ده سال گذشته، گالری سهراب با برگزاری ده‌ها نمایشگاه انفرادی و گروهی از آثار نقاشان پیشرو و مدرن ایران، جایگاه خود را به‌عنوان یکی از گالری‌های معتبر و تأثیرگذار در عرصه گردآوری، ارائه و نمایش آثار برجسته در بازار هنر ایران و خاورمیانه تثبیت کرده است.
